Training and Support

Initial and ongoing training of franchise owners is a basic ingredient of our system and covers drama principles, program knowledge, sales and marketing, and business management. Training begins with a home study preparation program. This initial pre-training includes the necessary steps to start up your new business.  New franchisees then attend Drama Kids New Owner Training, a comprehensive 1-week classroom training session conducted in Hanover, Maryland.  Training is then reinforced with an on-location visit by us to help boost your initial marketing results and help you kick off your first classes.    Our support of your business  continues with 24-hour phone and email support, regional meetings,  and our annual conference, always a highlight each year and a perfect way to connect with other DramaKids owners.

Marketing

Drama Kids International franchise owners are supported by an outstanding marketing program designed to build customer confidence, credibility, name recognition, and provide you with a substantial competitive edge. Franchisees order professionally created mailers, brochures and postcards.  Also available are free downloadable newspaper advertisements,  pictures, student newsletters, and other important advertising tools.    Drama Kids engages a national public relations company to help each owner build maximum local visibility and credibility through the local media in your area. 

Technology

Drama Kids uses the latest technology to stream-line business functions and enhance communications within the organization. Our Intranet system, iHITS, enables franchise owners to communicate online with DKI personnel and serves as our digital library to provide you with downloadable pictures, class recommendations, business advice,  and advertising items you need to grow your business. In addition, we provide your own individual web pages which your customers can directly access to get your local business and class information.
