Hi Everyone!
Thanks for visiting Drama Kids of Central Maryland. We serve students throughout Howard County and Southern Baltimore County. This is our ninth year in the Central Maryland area and we have served over 2,000 students since opening in 2000!
Drama Kids International is the largest after-school drama program in the world, with more than 55,000 students currently enrolled in its 1,500 plus locations both in the United States and Internationally. Drama Kids was established in Australia in 1979 -- so we are celebrating 30 years of dramatic success. Our copyrighted curriculum features original, creative lessons with a built-in advancing scale of language development that enables students of all ages and abilities to progress at their own rate. Our curriculum differs significantly from "traditional" drama programs, with an emphasis on fun drama activities that are designed to allow all students to fully participate and develop acting and speaking skills, regardless of age or experience level. Drama Kids stresses the importance of drama as a fundamental part of education. Many of our students discover the joy of acting and decide to pursue further stage work; other students attend just because Drama Kids help them build important skills that are used in whatever future endeavors they pursue. To be happy and successful in today's highly competitive world, children need to be confident and articulate. Our stimulating program assists all students to develop in these important areas.
Thanks again for your interest and we look forward to speaking with you soon.
